RNG Guide for VII Gen Stationary Pokemon

Prerequisites

• Timer (EonTimer recommended)
• PokemonSunMoonRNGTool (.NET Framework 4.5.2 or more version is required)

Recommended

• A Pokemon with Synchronize with the nature you're interested in getting
• A catcher Pokemon with moves like Spore, False Swipe, etc to assist in capturing your desired Pokemon
• Balls you want to capture

Getting Started

The RNG manipulation steps are:

1. Verifying your seed
2. Searching for target seed
3. Advancing to the correct frame

Verifying your seed

Clock hands

Verifying RNG seed from the clock hands that appear on the opening menu for a split second.

After you record the clock hand, press B button to turn back the opening.

And then, press A button to record the next clock hand.

Repeat this at least 8 times.

Using PokemonSunMoonRNGTool

You can change the language setting.

 After you record the clock hands sequence, input the sequence to PokemonSunMoonRNGTool ("針検索"tab).

If your sequence is "1,9,9,2,0,2,0,7", input this to text box or click the image of clock hands.

Then click the blue sentence "初期seedを検索(ブラウザが開きます)".

You can obtain the current seed if your sequence is correct.

If there is no result, your sequence seems to be wrong.

You should soft reset and verify your seed again.

If there are results more than one, you should check next (9th) clock hand to confirm your current seed. 

Verifying current seed

If you obtain the result, you should verify your seed.

Input your reslut to PokemonSunMoonRNGTool ("個体検索"tab), then press "計算" button.

You can get clock hands sequence in the rightest column. In my result, the sequence "1,9,9,2,0,2,0,7" is shown.

According to results, the following sequence is "7,11,3....".

So you should verify the next clock hands by opening menu to verify that your seed is correct.

Searching for taget seed

Fill the IV range you want to search.

H, A, B, C, D, S means HP, Atk, Def, SpA, SpD, Spe, respectively.

Left side box is lower bound, right side box is upper bound.

"Frame" box designates range of frame advancements.

I think 417~50000 is better choice.

Press "計算" button to show searching results.

This time, I chose the seed of 4162 [Frame], 31/19/31/31/31/31.

 

Advancing to the correct frame

Find your current frame by latest clock hands sequence.

And then input current frame and target frame.

Press "計算" button, the time you should input EonTimer will be calculated.

Pre-Timer is now 1500. I think it may be incorrect.

2500 is better than 1500.

There is a difference between EonTimer and Japanese emtimer.

When you use EonTimer, you should adjust waiting frame by dividing by 1.0029.

For example, when tool says 9994, you should input 9994/1.0029 = 9965.

Probably you don't have to do this calibration. 

Then simultaneously press Start on EonTimer and press A button on your 3DS.

And wait for timer to reach 00:00 on this scene, and when EonTimer reaches 00:00, press A.

Adjusting a frame

This time, I want to get 4162 frame, but acutual frame is 4155.

4155  Adamant 7/23/31/27/31/31

It indicates 7 frame earlier than target frame. = 7 / 30 sec. earlier.

7 / 30 = 0.233 sec.

So adjust Pre-Timer from 1500 to 1723.

It will delay pressing button 0.233 sec.

The number of NPCs for every Legendary Pokémon

Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu : 0 ( player only )

Tapu Fini : 1 ( player and "mysterious ghost" )

Solgaleo : 2 or more

Lunala : 3 or more

Type:Null : 8

Cosmog : 3

Magearna : 4 or more 

Others

QR-Scanner Method

While you are using QR scanner, there is no RNG advancement.

And RNG advances one frame to decide the clock hand when A or R is pressed in this scene.

So you can verify your current frame by this method.

i.e. After you verify your current seed in the continue screen, you can start the game without starting EonTimer. 

Then activate the QR scanner and record a sequence of clock hands by pressing A or R for more than 3 times.

notice : DO NOT exit the QR scanner while using this verifying method.

And then use the "Position Search" function.

After you find your current frame, turn back to "Advancing to the correct frame" paragraph. It is possible to get the target frame by the same procedure. 

The advantage of this method is to reduce the waiting time.

Pokémon Poses Method

Pokémon poses method cannot be used to verify current seed. 

Because there are additional RNG advancements besides determining pokémon poses.

Issues

There are additional RNG advancements on Ruins of Hope.

So when you are going to capture Tapu Fini, you should wait half of waiting frame.

There is a method to verify your current frame by QR scanner, but it is hard to explain in English for me.

This guide is written by my poor English, so it may confuse you.
